This year marks the 10th anniversary of National Apprenticeship Week, to celebrate, the National Careers Services is traveling across the South West on their Apprenticeship Bus Roadshow.

The bus will be stopping at key cities across the region and inviting adults, of 19 and over, to come and find out about how an apprenticeship can help them to reach their career goals. The Apprenticeship bus roadshow will be stopping at Exeter Princesshay on the 8th of March, and Plymouth The Guild Hall on the 9th of March, 10am to 6pm

Trained advisers will be aboard giving visitors advice about the benefits of apprenticeships, how to apply, and offering labour market information relevant to their area. Visitors are invited to use the upper deck computer suite to search and apply for apprenticeships.

Leading employers from around the south west have been invited to attend the roadshow to find out how apprenticeships can be used to grow their talent pool. There will be opportunities for employers to network with potential apprentices.

The roadshow aims to inform visitors how apprenticeships have become a real alternative to traditional University study, and a way of developing skills throughout the lifetime of any career.
