Maitlands celebrates success at annual property awards

Maitlands Sales and Lettings is celebrating after the company took first and second place at the annual Estate and Letting Agent Awards (ESTAS) in London.

Maitlands was named the winner in the regional category for the South West (West), with its Saltash branch being awarded gold and its Plympton branch securing silver.

The prestigious awards, sponsored by Zoopla, were launched in 2004 and quickly established themselves as the largest and longest-running awards for the UK property industry.

Now in their 10th year, the ESTAS celebrate excellent customer service and are specifically designed to help agencies market themselves in their specific region. The ESTAS are the only property industry awards based on votes from buyers, sellers and landlords.

The awards determine the best estate agents and suppliers in the country through customers who are asked a series of questions about the service they received last year. A total of 23,000 questionnaires were completed by customers before the winners were announced, making it the biggest consumer survey in the property industry.

The awards were announced by property expert and host of Relocation, Relocation Phil Spencer, who has hosted the awards every year. This year’s ESTAS were attended by some 600 estate agencies from across the country at the Hilton Hotel on Park Lane, London.
