A unique musical experience inspired by Maurice Ravel's Piano Concerto for the Left Hand, commissioned by infamous pianist Paul Wittgenstein after he lost his right arm during the First World War. Concerto is a deconstructed and re-orchestrated exploration of the legacy of war and the healing power of music to overcome tragedy.

Commonwealth War Graves Commission appeals for relatives of WW1 nurse

The Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) is appealing for relatives of a nurse who died on active duty in the First World War and will soon be commemorated by the organisation.

Nurse Olive Louise Bennett was 29 years old when she died on October 30, 1916. She is buried at the Plymouth (Ford Park) Cemetery and was part of the Voluntary Aid Detachment.
