Thousands join the fight against cancer at Plymouth Race for Life

Central Park, Plymouth became a sea of pink on Sunday as thousands of women joined the fight against cancer by taking part in Cancer Research UK’s Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle run.

Just over 2,200 mums, daughters, sisters and friends showed their incredible commitment to the cause as they came together over the weekend, battling the wet and muddy conditions, to help bring forward the day...

WOMEN in Plymouth are being urged to make a last minute dash to enter Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life as there are just five weeks left until registration closes.

Just under 2,000 women have already signed up to take part the 5k muddle obstacle event on Sunday 1ct October at Plymouth Central Park, but there are still places left.

Charity workers highlight Race for Life in Plymouth
