Local Choir raises £12,000 for CLIC Sargent

On Friday 9th December 2016, La La Choirs held their second annual ‘CLIC for Christmas’ concert at Exeter Cathedral. Nourish Festival of Food, Craft and Music

The Nourish Food Fair will fill Bovey's high street with some of the best producers from the South West on Sat 3 September. Stalls will be selling a huge variety of locally produced food including artisan cheeses, preserves, handmade chocolates, oils, pies and speciality mushrooms.

Jessica and the Rabbits - Music for Mesothelioma

Popular local band 'Jessica and the Rabbits' will be holding a 'Music for Mesothelioma' gig to raise funds for the South West Mesothelioma Support Group.

The group is based at Derriford Hospital's Macmillan Mustard Tree Centre in Plymouth and was established in 2011 to provide peer and professional support for those affected by mesothelioma and their families.

Mesothelioma is a terminal cancer which most commonly affects the lining of the lungs and is caused by the inhalation of disturbed asbestos fibres.
