Police have welcomed the sentencing of Lee Dent to life imprisonment for the murder of teenager Alex Peguero Sosa in Kingsbridge.

A man has died at Derriford Hospital after getting into difficulty swimming in the water off Beesands Beach, near Kingsbridge in South Devon.
