Police seek witnesses to serious A30 collision

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a serious collision between a Honda motorcyle and a Vauxhall Astra on the westbound carriageway of the A30 near Honiton on Friday (31 May) afternoon.

Officers are particularly keen to speak to the driver of a blue car seen in the area at around the time of the collision who may be able to assist the investigation.


Inquests open into deaths of teenagers in Honiton house fire

The inquests into the deaths of the two teenagers who died following a house fire in Honiton were opened yesterday in Exeter.

Coroner Dr Elizabeth Earland said that the identities of Andrew Gunn, 18 and 17-year-old Rosie Bennillick, identified at the hearing as Child A, had been confirmed by their mothers. The teenagers died at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.

The families of the 3 year old boy and two teenagers who died tragically following a house fire in Honiton, have paid tributes to the three.

The 3 year old boy seriously hurt in a house fire in Honiton on Friday died in hospital in Bristol on Saturday.
