Toby Buckland's Garden Festival

After the success of last year, Toby Buckland's Garden Festival at Powderham Castle is back and bigger than ever on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd May!

There will be explosive 'daytime fireworks' with coloured smoke and showering steamers down from the Gate House. Toby and the Countess of Devon will be cutting the ribbon.

Teign Trees will be swining from the trees at the entrance of the castle! There will also be live music from the Cataclews and much more.

Topsham Flower Club are decorating the Chapel at Powderham with incredible flower arrangements themed on the work...

Celebrate the end of a great summer of racing and join Newton Abbot Racecourse for their last fixture of the year on Friday 10th October.

The gates will open at 12:20pm and the first race will be at 2:20pm. The last race is at 5:30pm.

Tickets are available to buy online until 5pm on Thursday 9th October. Tickets are priced at £18 for the Paddock Enclosure and £12 for the Course Enclosure. Tickets will be available to buy at the gate on the day.

Enjoy an afternoon of summer jumps racing at Newton Abbot Racecourse on Monday 8th September. A great afternoon out, it’s the perfect way to enjoy a day in Devon.

Racing for the afternoon will start at 2:10pm, with gates opening at 12:10pm.

Tickets are priced at £18 for the Paddock Enclosure and £12 for the Course Enclosure. Tickets can be bought online until 5pm on Sunday 7th September. There will be tickets available to buy at the gate upon arrival.

Children aged 16 and under and students with a valid student ID / NUS card can enjoy free entry.

Spend a day at Newton Abbot Racecourse for their biggest fixture ever to be held on Saturday 30th August.

Saturday’s fixture will see some of the best jockeys and horses in the country compete for a part of the £119,500 prize fund – the biggest prize fund to date.

Tamar Grow Local and Saltram House will be celebrating the summer in true English country fete style on the weekend of 26th and 27th July in the grounds of the beautiful 18th century estate in Plymouth.
