Tenants from Plymouth Science Park are celebrating successfully getting through to the semi finals of the coveted Devon Venus Awards 2015.

The Devon Venus Awards are a staple of the social calendar in the South West and this year is no different as the awards seek to honour and award businesswomen who are inspirational, driven, and successful.

Plymouth Science Park Director of Operations Christian Jenkins has said: “Congratulations to Rebecca Garrett of RGM and Louise Pasterfield of Sponge UK for both reaching the semi-finals of the Venus Awards for Employer of the Year. I’d also like to congratulate Thomasina Ward of WebBased Ltd and Louise Pasterfield again for being in the running to receive the Digital Media and Online Business Award.”

‘The Working Women’s Oscars’ see women nominated into 12 different categories such as Director of the Year, Business Mother of the Year, New Business Award, and Digital Media and Online Business Award. Plymouth Science Park very proudly sponsors the Digital Media and Online Business Award which awards outstanding women that work 50% online or develops/supports technology.

The finalists will be announced on the 9th October at the Saunton Sands Hotel and the glittering red-carpet final awards ceremony will take place on 27th November this year at Exeter University’s Great Hall.
