Woman assaulted on Plymouth Hoe

Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault which took place on Plymouth Hoe at around 9.25pm on Friday 29th July 2016.

A 36-year-old woman from Plymouth was assaulted by two women and one man who were not known to her. The victim was punched and bitten on the face and arm, and kicked while she was on the ground. She received black eyes, bruising to the body and a bump on the head.

The two men and one woman who carried out the assault are described as being white and in their 30’s. The man was wearing a dark “puffa” jacket and shorts.

Police would like anyone who witnessed the assault to come forward. The area was very busy at the time due a music event taking place. Police would particularly like to hear from any event security staff who may have seen what happened.
