Police appeal following Plymouth collision

Police are appealing for witnesses following collision that has left an elderly woman with in hospital with serious arm injuries.

At approximately 5.20pm on Friday 29th April, police were called to Mainstone Avenue in Plymouth.

A Renault Kangoo appears to have struck several stationary vehicles before rolling on to its nearside trapping the 81-year-old female driver by the arm. After being released by the Fire Service the injured woman was taken to Derriford Hospital with serious arm injuries.

Officers from the Serious Collisions Unit at Crownhill Police Station are investigating the collision and are appealing for witnesses to contact them by calling 101 or emailing 101@dc.police.uk, quoting police log 587 of the 29th April.
