Police appeal after indecent exposures

Police are appealing for information following two public decency offences in Plymouth.

Officers are investigating two incidents within two days where a man has exposed himself to women and carried out an act of public indecency.

In the first incident around 5.30pm on Monday 19 October, a woman in her 50s saw a man in Central Park exposing himself.

On Wednesday 21 October between 1pm and 1.30pm, a teenage girl saw a man in Thorn Park, Mannamead, exposing himself and carrying out an indecent act.

Police are investigating links between the two incidents and are seeking a white man, aged 35 to 40 years old. On both occasions the suspect was wearing smart black trousers, a white shirt and a black body warmer or gilet.

Detective Constable Sharon Moore, from Devonport CID, said: “Police are keen to identify and trace this man. Anyone who witnessed these incidents or has information as to whom this man may be is urged to contact police.”
