Funky flowers and sensational settings could be on the cards for a community group or organisation in Plymouth with a wild touch.

Plymouth City Council is helping to spread the word about a new fund to transform community spaces from tired to inspired using our native wildflowers, plants and trees.

The funding –  of between £500 and £5,000 –  is being put forward by the prestigious Kew Gardens who are sending their Grow Wild funding officer here for a drop-in session for groups interested in finding out more or who have an idea they’d like to talk through.

The event takes place on Friday 6 December at the Devonport Park Training Centre, Fore Street, Devonport (just inside Devonport Park entrance on Fore Street, behind the old park keeper’s building).

People can pop in any time between 3pm and 5.30pm.
