Hauley Masonic Chapter of Dartmouth chose Dart Trekkers as a local organisation to support by donating £500 which will allow young people in Dartmouth to experience outdoor activities and training, which will eventually enable them to take part in the Ten Tors Race on Dartmoor. Some of this donation is already earmarked for training in the Brecon Beacons in February.

Terri Walker one of the senior trainers and founders of the group, is pictured here being presented with the cheque by E. Comp. Bernard Munt a Principle of the Dartmouth Masonic Chapter, he said, ”we believe that this donation is an investment in the young people of Dartmouth, and in consequence in the town itself”. Terri agreed and added that, “the young people who are a part of the Trekkers are committed to personal development by outdoor activities which test their resolve and their physical limits”
