The Donkey Sanctuary Ivybridge is holding its Christmas Fair on Saturday 2 December.

Local traders will be selling unique Christmas crafts and goods while The Donkey Sanctuary handmade with love Christmas wreaths and table centre pieces will be on sale along with wooden reindeers that make the perfect Christmas gift.

There will be a tombola, games to play and visitors can stroll through the Winter Wonderland Trail looking out for the chilly penguins in their igloo on their way to see Santa in his grotto.*

For a truly magical Christmas gift there will also be the opportunity to Adopt a Donkey. Pooh and Eeyore, the centre adoption donkeys, will be part of day, and visitors can find out all about them and their life at The Donkey Sanctuary Ivybridge.

Adopt a Donkey costs just £2 per month and includes two portraits, four beautiful postcards, a certificate and membership card and what’s great about the adoptions is that the recipient can visit their donkey for free at the centre.

Delicious refreshments will be available all day including hot turkey and stuffing rolls, mulled wine and warm mince pies and cream.

Entry and parking is free and everyone is welcome to come along to join in the Christmas fun. For further information please call the centre on 01752 690200

*There is a small charge to visit Santa and each child receives a gift.

The event runs from from 11am - 3pm at The Donkey Sanctuary, Filham Park, Godwell Lane, Ivybridge  PL21 0LE
