The Devon County Agricultural Association is delighted to announce that the 2020 Agrifest South West will take place on Wednesday 11th November at Westpoint, Exeter.  The event, which attracts primestock entries from across the region, was cancelled in 2019 and the confirmation that it will run again in 2020 has been well received by the agricultural community.  Agrifest South West Chairman, Robert Venner, commented ‘we are delighted to be once again staging this important event for regional agriculture.  Our committee have worked hard to build up Agrifest South West and are keen to see it go from strength to strength.  With the support of the DCAA we look forward to welcoming another excellent display of regional primestock’.

This year the event will add dairy classes to its already popular commercial beef and sheep competitions reflecting the range of farming that takes place in Devon.  With over £5,000 of prize money on offer it is hoped in excess of 300 exhibits will be on show competing for silverware provided by the Royal Smithfield Club.   In addition to the primestock showing classes, tradestands from agricultural businesses and those allied to agriculture will join the event in the Westpoint Arena.  A full timetable of speakers will inform on and debate the most topical agricultural subjects of the day making the Agrifest South West event a must attend event for all those working in agriculture.
