Children being cared for at Derriford Hospital now have more to look forward to, following a huge donation of £800.00 worth of Lego from the charity Fairy Bricks.

Eight year old patient, Nathan Rogers, and his sister Hollie were on hand to receive the donation, made by Sarah Wimlett, Consultant Anaesthetist, on behalf of the charity. Nathan and Hollie were joined by Marcus Granville, Operating Department Practitioner, from Plym Children's Theatres and Sam Cartwright and Glenys Collick, Play Specialists.

Sarah Wimlett said: "Thank you so much to Fairy Bricks for this incredibly generous donation. Lego is so popular with children of all ages and we know that maintaining a child friendly environment in hospital is really important to children and their families. We are sure that our patients will love playing with it."
