People nowadays skip the shower for a lot of reasons. Some are in a hurry for work, so they rather envelope their bodies with some fragrant body spray, making them seem like they have just taken a shower. Some merely choose not to do so as the weather is too cold for them to touch the water. However, thankfully, some people take their showers religiously, not missing a single time in their lives and allowing themselves to enjoy the various benefits of such a routine activity fully. They even take their shower up a notch by carefully planning their showers. If you are one of those people and want to make your shower perfect, follow these tips.

Temper your water

The temperature of the water you use when taking a shower is a crucial thing you will have to decide on. Do you like it cold, lukewarm, or hot? And with each option you choose, you are also exposing your body to different benefits. With cold water, you increase your brain’s alertness. On the other hand, when you use lukewarm water, you increase the blood circulation in your body. And if you use hot water instead, you relieve your body of symptoms of colds as the steam moisturizes your nasal passages. You can also try each one at a time by adjusting your heater settings, but make sure to be careful when switching the controller.

Have some privacy

Do you want to take a shower in the open, with people, or alone in your bathroom? Sharing memories with people is truly a beautiful thing to do, but sometimes, we need to keep our minds to ourselves especially when we are engaging in an activity that is supposed to be private – like taking a shower. But in the end, it is all up to you. So, if you choose to go out, you might as well shower at the gym. If you decide though to take a shower on your own, shower pods are there for you to enjoy. They have curtains that you can use to hide your naked body. You can also put on some music as you shower since you are alone.

Use a loofah

A lot of people want to be very clean every time they take a shower. This desire is not surprising as it is a shower’s job to keep us clean; however, taking a regular shower does not ensure overall exfoliation of dirt found on our skin. People can use loofahs or fibrous scrubs made of coarse materials. Their textures are rough enough for you to take away the dead skin cells and dirt from your skin, allowing your skin to heal and rejuvenate. They also remove bacteria which can infect you with severe skin and immune diseases.

Taking a shower is a mundane activity that most people tend to skip. But for some, it is the highest priority. So, if you want to be like them, put a lot of effort into making your shower perfect.
