The Dome have recently appointed Dan Weaver as the Head Chef, Dan will be charge of an all new and very talented kitchen brigade, including Lee Eccles, the Sous Chef.

Dan has previously been the Head Chef at The Mission and The Dock, both in Plymouth, and so brings a successful record with him to The Dome where he has already introduced a brand-new menu and is overseeing some really exciting events and themed evenings.

The Dome is probably finest located waterfront restaurant in Plymouth, if not the South West, with the most amazing views out over the sound, so no matter what time of the year or what the weather, there is always plenty to see, from menacing warships and submarines, to the huge Brittany Ferries, to literally hundreds of colourful sailing boats, never a dull moment!

Head Chef Dan commented “this is a fabulous place to work with a huge, well equipped kitchen, a talented team and probably the best located restaurant in the city”.

The Dome has a fabulous bar with a 30m high glass dome and is open for drinks, morning coffees and great lunches throughout the day, opening at 9:30am and closing at 5:30pm, the Dome really is the ideal venue for lunch or its seriously impressive afternoon teas, not to mention its famous traditional Sunday roast with a choice of roasts for just £9.95.

The Dome has a new operating policy for 2018 in that it is open every day of the week from 9:30am to 5:30pm and in the evening it is available for exclusive use, ideal for parties, weddings, receptions, dinners etc., and hosts a wide selection of themed evenings, from cabaret night to dinner dances.
