October 21: TV chef Gill Mellor launches his new book Gather at River Cottage Canteen & Deli Plymouth, with a special evening where Gill will talk about the inspiration behind his book and guests can enjoy a three course meal bursting with seasonal ingredients. To book go to www.rivercottage.net

October 27: Le Vignoble is set to treat you to an evening of wine tasting with Nyetimber, rumoured to be the royal's favourite tipple, and a talk from its West Sussex wine's creators. www.levignoble.co.uk

Nov 3 - Lunch with Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall is on offer to hear about his new book River Cottage A-Z , the eaters digest, and the chance to enjoy a 3 course meal, menu created from the book.
