This February half term, head to The Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth and find out which donkey has the loudest bray, the longest ears, or who is the most playful in the Adoption Donkey Top Trumps Trail.

Follow the trail to find the giant Top Trumps cards located around the sanctuary and reveal which adoption donkey comes out on top in each round.

Each adoption donkey has been scored against nine different donkey stats with the aim of the game to find out who trumps whom in each head-to-head round.

This entertaining family activity is the perfect way to explore the sanctuary, combining fun, exercise and brainpower. Each trail costs £3.50 and includes a prize and certificate on completion.

February half term is the ideal time to get outdoors with friends and family and explore the Sidmouth sanctuary. There are tours and talks, scenic walks, engaging exhibits, award-winning gardens and, of course, hundreds of adorable donkeys to meet.

Take an interactive journey through the global work of The Donkey Sanctuary in the Exhibition Barn, discover all things donkey in the Understanding Donkeys Zone, take a walk in the woods or lose yourself in the maze.

The Taste of the West award-winning restaurant, The Kitchen, serves fresh, local, seasonal produce accompanied by unparalleled coast and country views. Breakfasts, lunches and tempting afternoon treats are dished up daily as well as Brunch on Sundays, with every penny of profit helping donkeys and mules around the world.

Before heading home, the Gift Shop is packed with unique donkey-design items and souvenirs, including The Donkey Sanctuary’s very version of the popular Top Trumps game. All purchases go towards supporting the work of the charity and helping donkeys in need.

The Adoption Donkey Top Trumps Trail runs until 26 March.

Entry and parking at the sanctuary is free. Dogs on leads are welcome.

All proceeds help fund the work of The Donkey Sanctuary Worldwide.
