Music students from Plympton Academy are putting on a musical
extravaganza this Easter.

The theme of the concert, being held on Thursday April 4th in the
schools Morpurgo Studios, is Festival, as it showcases different
performers in a positive and energetic way.

The event is being organised by the Year 12 music class as part of
their course, and will feature bands and choirs from across the
school, as well as the debut of the Year 12 BTEC Music performance
band, Undecided.

The band is made up of five instrumentalists and four vocalists, and
they play a diverse range of music styles, including soul and rock.

“The Music BTEC group have been working hard to organise the Morpurgo
Music Festival,” said Head of Music at Plympton Academy, Nicola
Clapson. “All the school ensembles will be performing as well as year
10 and 12 Music BTEC classes. Please come and support us as it
promises to be a fantastic evening.”

Tickets are available to buy, £3 adult and £2 child and concessions,
from the Plympton Academy reception.
