This weekend there will be an influx of Santas on motorbikes in Devon and Cornwall as they travel to Little Harbour children’s hospice for the annual Santas on a Bike fundraising ride.

Riders will meet from 11am on Saturday 7th December at Lee Mill near Plymouth and will depart at 12.15pm, travel through Ivybridge at 12.30pm, Saltash at 1pm, Liskeard at 1.45pm and will be going through St Austell town centre at 3pm finishing at Little Harbour children’s hospice at Porthpean.

This is an annual event which usually sees hundreds of Santas taking part, all raising money for Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) with donations being collected along the way.

Zoe Partridge, Community Fundraiser for CHSW said “We are really looking forward to this unique event. Seeing hundreds of Santas riding motorbikes turn up at Little Harbour children’s hospice with donation buckets laden with change collected on the way is quite a sight to see and displays an amazing sense of community spirit which we are so grateful for.”

Those interested in seeing the motorbikes at their stops along the route are encouraged to visit the Santas on a Bike website and facebook page to see further information and also see how to donate.
