Andrew Price is beginning his preparations to take part in The Male Trail – Rowcroft Hospices’ annual charity walk.

Andrew is Managing Director at Andrew Price & Co, an accountancy firm based in Torquay that works with clients across the South West, which is raising money for the hospice as its chosen charity of 2020.

The 8-mile walk on 7 March will see Andrew join hundreds of men as they set off from the start line at Torquay Rugby Club.

The hospice’s walk finishes with pints, pasties and a Six Nations rugby match, all of which it hopes will attract fundraisers from across the region.

As an independent charity that cares for people with life-limiting conditions, more than 70 per cent of the hospices funding comes from the public and businesses, such as Andrew Price & Co, as well as events like The Mail Trail.

Speaking about his participation in the upcoming event, Andrew said: “We are delighted to be supporting Rowcroft Hospice this year and I am excited to be kicking off our year of fundraising with The Male Trail.

“All donations, however big or small, make a massive difference to this charity and so I would encourage others to join me at this event and to support me by donating whatever they can.”

As a single visit to support a patient at home can cost £169, Andrew and his team hope to have raised over £1,000 for Rowcroft by the end of 2020.
