On the search for the South West's best heating installer

Entries are now open for the regional heats of the national Heating Installer Awards, which has returned for a sixth year as the competition once again searches for the best plumbing and heating installers in the UK. Designed to champion the heroes of the industry who often go unnoticed, the awards recognise installers who go to great lengths to deliver incredible levels of service and the highest quality work for their customers.

For those working in this industry, this year has been challenging to say the least, with many installers continuing to provide vital services throughout lockdown. It’s true when people say that ‘not all superheroes wear capes’ so it’s more important than ever to take time to celebrate their hard work and dedication over the past 12 months, and champion the heroes of this industry who often go unnoticed.

The awards are completely free to enter and give installers the chance to showcase their work to potential customers. There is a prize bundle worth over £10,000 on offer for the finalists, including a trip to Denmark for the national winner.

This year, the awards will once again recognise nine regional winners, who will then all have the chance to go on to be crowned the National Heating Installer Awards winner 2021, as well as two special category winners:

· Rising Star – especially for the industry’s budding apprentices – and;

· Most Sustainable Installer – to recognise those who are doing everything they can to minimise the impact of their work on the environment

After entries close in February 2021, an expert judging panel made up of industry professionals and installers will choose the South West’s best heating installer. The South West’s champion will then go up against eight other regional winners from across the country with the overall winner decided by a combination of judges’ scores, peer reviewed technical challenges and a public vote.
