Investors are expected to show keen interest at auction for a detached two-flat opportunity near Plymouth University.
Located in Wyndham Street East, it has a freehold guide price of £150,000 to £165,000 and is among the West Country lots listed for sale by the regional land and property auctioneers Clive Emson in July.
Katie Semmens, Senior Auction Valuer, said: “With its ‘Grade A’ location, there should be strong interest in this property.
“It will appeal to those looking for a productive investment property or even those with a mind to the formal break-up and sale of the flats subject to the necessary consents.”
A top floor flat in Ford Park Road, Plymouth, is available with a guide of £58,000 to £63,000 on the remainder of a 99-year lease from July 1988 with a 25% share of the freehold.
Conveniently located near the amenities of Mutley Plain and, in turn, the city centre, the one-bedroom apartment is part of a four-storey mid-terrace property.
The flat is being jointly offered with At Home of Plymouth.
A three-bedroom maisonette for investment – already let at £7,200 per annum – has a leasehold guide of £55,000 to £65,000.
The property at 90 Stoke Road extends over two floors and has the remainder of a 125 year lease from September 1989 at a current ground rental of £10 per annum.
In Honiton Walk, a ground floor studio flat has a leasehold guide of £30,000 to £40,000. It has the remainder of a 199-year lease from January 1984 at a current ground rent of £50 per annum.
Clive Emson Auctioneers holds eight rounds of auctions at five locations from Essex to Cornwall on consecutive days every six weeks, this time with a total of 154 lots.
The independent, family-run firm has had an excellent first half of the year, selling properties to the value of £84 million at a success rate of more than 85%, well above the national average.
Starting at 11am, the fifth of Clive Emson’s eight regional West Country auctions in 2016 takes place at the St Mellion International Resort, St Mellion, Cornwall, on Thursday July 28.

A number of newspapers utilise the news releases to run as ‘What’s Happening Here?’ columns.
