Officers are seeking information following a burglary at a shop on Albert Road in Plymouth on Friday 18 August.

It is believed that an unknown male offender gained entry into the store through a window at around midnight on Friday.

Amongst items stolen was a 3ft model Galleon ship with sails [pictured]. The Galleon was a display model used in the shop window and was donated by a local 75-year-old resident who painstakingly spent over five years building the model.

The model is of sentimental value and anyone with any information on its whereabouts or who may have stolen it can contact police via 101@dc.police.uk or calling 101 quoting crime reference number CR/069816/17.

Alternatively, the public can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting crime reference number CR/069816/17.
