Man stabbed in chest in Plymouth

Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident in Plymouth that left one man hospitalised.

Police were called at around 1:30am on Saturday 18th February following reports of an altercation inside the Stoke bar & Grill, Devonport Road, Stoke Village.

It is believed that this altercation later spilled outside onto the street where a 32-year-old man sustained a single stab wound to the chest.

The victim remains at Derriford hospital where his injuries are described as serious but not believe to be life threatening.

No arrests have been made at this time, but a possible weapon has been recovered. Police are currently reviewing an extensive amount of CCTV but are still appealing for witnesses.
