Five charged following Plymouth kidnapping

Five men have been charged following a kidnap and assault that took place on Sunday the 27th March.

The victim, a 27-year-old man was attacked in his home in the Mutley area of Plymouth, before being driven to Cornwall where he was abandoned in Hayle.

The victim suffered a number of injuries including a suspected broken jaw, broken ribs and bruising.

Five men have now been charged in connection with the offence.

Luke Coley aged 27 from Chapmans Way, St Austell; Barry Wright aged 26 from Dovedale Road, Birmingham; Mark Reeves aged 24 from Dovedale Road, Birmingham; James Prideaux-Hamilton-Bing aged 28 from Hendra Prazey, St Austell; and Mark Bird aged 27 from Morcom Close, St Austell have all been charged with kidnapping and grievous bodily harm with intent.

All five men have been remanded to appear at Plymouth Magistrates Court on Wednesday 30th March.
