“We hope the local community enjoy what Flannels.com has to offer. The positive and welcoming vibe from guests and local celebrities tonight has proved our arrival in the South West will provide the long-awaited experience of luxury fashion retail.”

Local DJ Warren Jones provided the tunes and prestigious restaurant, The Treasury, supplied delicious canapes, including the iconic Devonshire scones and clotted cream, whilst guests sipped on Lanson Champagne.

Charleine Wain, who has her own hair and beauty business in the town said: “This is just what we need in Plymouth, I have my eye on a few items that I’m looking forward to purchasing! It has been an amazing evening in a spectacular store.”

Delighted store manager Simon Prout said: “I couldn't have asked for any more support from the local community tonight.

“The atmosphere has been great, the tills have been ringing and one customer has just told me it's like stepping from the high street of Plymouth into a top London store.

“I look forward to welcoming everyone back in the store again soon to shop our spring summer collections.”
