A spirited team of swimmers from The Family Law Company in Plymouth raised £280 during an evening ‘Swimarathon’.

The legal line-up of Director of Legal Services, David Cobern and his son, Joe, Solicitor Derek Jordan, Associate Chartered Legal Executive, Alexandra Boardman Tim Phillips and between them swam an impressive 92 lengths of the Marjon’s swimming pool, equating to 260 meters per swimmer ‒ a total of 2,300 meters.

Alexandra Boardman said: “It was an amazing challenge to undertake, and with varying levels of aquatic skills we were grateful for Joe, who gave us a wonderful display of proper swimming.”

The money raised will be split between the Lions Club of Plymouth, and The Family Law Company’s nominated charity, the Plymouth Refuge.

The team would like to thank the support team of Solicitor Anne Shears, Director Jonathan Madge and the Cobern family, for their enthusiastic encouragement.

The event was organised by the Lions Club, and in total participating teams swam 1,687 lengths, equating to 26.21 miles – or a full Marathon.
