Evans Halshaw Plymouth is back for Round 2 in fight against cancer
Local Vauxhall retailer, Evans Halshaw Plymouth, is hitting the punching bags once again as team member Greg Shelton prepares to take part in a charity boxing match in aid of Cancer Research UK.
The retailer at Barbican Approach is getting behind service leader, Greg, by offering sponsorship and is calling on customers and local residents alike to do the same. Greg will go toe to toe in the ring in the charity boxing match on 30th April at the Riviera International Conference Centre in Torquay, Devon in a bid a to raise some much needed funds for the charity.
This isn’t the first time that Greg has taken to the ring to support the charity as he participated in an Ultra White Collar Boxing match back in December, which saw him win his fight in just 52 seconds. Both Evans Halshaw Plymouth and Greg are hoping he will be just as successful this time around.
Greg will proudly display the Evans Halshaw logo on his vest as the retailer will sponsor his kit in support of his efforts for the cancer charity.
Greg comments: “Everyone at the dealership was hugely supportive of my last boxing match, so I decided to pick up the gloves once again and show my support for Cancer Research. I still can’t believe I won my first ever match in under a minute, I can’t wait to get back in the ring, especially since it is for such a great cause.”
“I’d like to thank my co-workers and customers not only for their words of encouragement, but also their generous donations. The charity does fantastic work and I’m just glad I can do something to help raise extra funds.”
